"Biased" College Fair

Thirty members of IGA went to a college fair, organized by the Council of International Schools. The place was Hilton Hotel in Istanbul on 26th of September; the service bus was ready to take the IGA members.
In the ballroom, seventy university representatives were waiting anxiously for people to enter. The atmosphere was crowded and busy outside, with an estimated 700 people wandering around.
Finally, when the door was opened after a long time, many crowded around the entrance. They found the representatives (with five absent) standing by their tables, with some brochures and forms.
Quickly, everyone altogether started looking for suitable universities. As time passed, the number of people increased dramatically; there was barely any room to walk or obtain an opportunity to discuss anything. “It was better when we had the college fair at our school,” said Mrs. Sanderlin. “Students had a better chance to interact with the reps.”
The members of IGA decided to exit as soon as possible since the ballroom was overflowing with people. “I’m not sure if we’d do it again. The traffic was horrendous. In addition, it was so crowded,” sighed Mrs. Sanderlin as they left the hotel.
